In 2019 my wife and I contracted Mehl Homes to build our home on our acreage from untouched forest to a beautiful house - start to finish. As expected, value, confidence, and quality were our three most important attributes for our builder as we had no prior experience in the process. Ethan Mehl, our GC, did not disappoint on any of those aspects. The build was on schedule, on budget, and the finished product was honestly well above our expectations. We were moving from a tract home in a planned community to something we drew on paper. Ethan was extremely helpful making small adjustments to help our budget and aid in the overall form and function of the end product. His experience was priceless.
The relationship between a builder and the homeowner can certainly have its stressful moments between financial boundaries and the trust in craftsmanship among different subcontractors. Ethan was the person that gave us the confidence that everything would come together as planned, which it did. We heard countless stories from other projects of budget over runs, unacceptable quality, and unfulfilled commitments. We had every expectation met or exceeded and if/when we proceed on our next build or remodel we have no reason to look any further than Mehl Homes.

During the trials and tribulations of COVID and the cost of lumber, Ethan was right on top of keeping us informed every step of the way to insure that prices were the best at the time. Ethan knew exactly how to save us cost and guide us along not only with lumber but everything in between. His knowledge of building a home and what exactly was needed in every aspect was incredible. He was always available to answer any or our questions. We literally sat back and watched our home be built. The craftmanship in our home is beautiful, never did they take shortcuts. They all went above and beyond our expectations. We have the most wonderful home and would highly recommend them to anyone with 100% trust.
